Fire Extinguisher Technician & Warehouse Support, Gillette WY

Requirements:

 Responsibilities:

• Inspect, test, and install fire extinguishers and fire suppression systems.
• Perform annual inspections of fire extinguishers.
• Install new fire extinguishers as required.
• Conduct semi-annual inspections of fire suppression systems.
• Perform repairs on fire suppression systems.
• Complete inspection reports and document deficiencies.
• Receive, organize, and track incoming warehouse shipments.
• Ensure proper storage and inventory control of fire safety equipment and related parts.
• Deliver fire safety equipment and parts to mine sites and other job locations as needed.
• Act as a parts runner to support field technicians and job site needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
• Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment.
• Follow all safety regulations and company procedures while handling materials and making deliveries.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of fire and building codes, OSHA regulations, and industry standards.
• Must be MSHA certified, or willing to obtain immediately.
• Ability to stay up to date with industry regulations and standards in fire safety equipment.
• Basic iPad and mobile software skills.
• Strong ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing, with supervisors, colleagues, and customers.
• Provide excellent customer service to StateFire customers and employees.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to use hand and battery-operated tools.
• Prior experience in warehouse operations, delivery driving, or logistics is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, kneel, crouch, or stoop for prolonged periods.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle safely.
• Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, and stairs.
• Ability to move about in areas with limited space and difficult access.
• Ability to safely lift, transport, and place objects up to 70 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
