  • Eager to learn and willing to train.
  • Mechanically inclined, with experience and comfort working with hand and power tools.
  • Reliable, hardworking, and committed to safety.
  • Able to pass a background check, drug screening, and maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Able to work flexible hours and travel when needed.
  • Physically able to lift up to 70 lbs, climb ladders, and work in both indoor and outdoor environments.

What You’ll Do:

As a Fire Sprinkler Apprentice, you’ll gain hands-on experience while working alongside industry experts. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Installing, repairing, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems.
  • Inspecting systems to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Reading and following plans and blueprints.
  • Handling and transporting pipes and materials.
  • Following MSHA and OSHA safety regulations.
  • Completing training and coursework through the AFSA Apprenticeship Program.
  • Working 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts, with occasional on-call duty and overnight travel.
$20-$25 per hour DOE
