The Opportunity
As a Fire Sprinkler Experienced Helper, you will work alongside licensed sprinkler technicians to install, repair, and maintain fire sprinkler systems. This is a hands-on field role with real opportunities for training, advancement, and long-term growth within State Fire.
You will apply your existing experience while continuing to develop technical skills through field training and industry education.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems
- Perform inspections and support testing activities
- Read, review, and follow plans, drawings, and job specifications
- Load, unload, lift, and transport pipe and sprinkler materials
- Use trade-specific tools such as hand tools, saws, and pipe cutters
- Follow MSHA and OSHA safety requirements at all times
- Participate in required training
- Work 10-, or 12-hour shifts when necessary, and on-call rotation as needed
