What You Bring to the Team

We’re looking for someone who’s dependable, teachable, and motivated to build a career. 

  • Comfortable using hand and power tools (pipe cutters, saws, drills, etc.)
     
  • Mechanical aptitude and interest in how things work
     
  • Able to learn how to read blueprints and diagrams
     
  • Background in construction, plumbing, or mechanical work is a plus
     
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
     
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening (pre-employment and random)
     
  • Able to communicate clearly in English
     
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including occasional travel with overnight stays and on-call
     

Physical Requirements

  • Able to lift and carry up to 70 lbs without help
     
  • Comfortable on ladders, scaffolding, and in tight spaces
     
  • Able to kneel, crouch, or stand for extended periods
     
  • Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Fire Sprinkler Helper, you’ll learn the trade by working alongside experienced technicians. You’ll help install, inspect, and maintain fire sprinkler systems in commercial and industrial buildings.

You will:

  • Assist with installing and repairing fire sprinkler systems
     
  • Read and follow blueprints and technical drawings
     
  • Load/unload and carry pipe and materials
     
  • Inspect system components for proper operation
     
  • Use hand and power tools safely
     
  • Follow OSHA and MSHA safety protocols
     
  • Travel occasionally for jobs in the region
$20 - $24 DOE
