Requirements:

 What You Bring:

  • Prior experience installing commercial suppression systems preferred, but not required
     
  • Familiarity with fire code and NFPA standards a plus
     
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools
     
  • Comfortable working at heights and in tight spaces
     
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record and ability to pass a background check
     
  • Physically capable of lifting 60 lbs and working in various environments
     
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and attention to detail

What You’ll Do:

  • Install pre-engineered fire suppression systems in commercial kitchens (CaptivAire, Ansul, Pyro-Chem, etc.)
  • Read blueprints and system drawings to plan efficient installations
  • Mount nozzles, detectors, piping, conduit, and control components
  • Coordinate with general contractors, trades, and kitchen staff
  • Ensure compliance with NFPA 17, 17A, and 96, local codes, and manufacturer specs
  • Maintain accurate paperwork and clean, organized job sites
$18-$25 DOE
