State Fire is a trusted name in fire protection, specializing in the installation and servicing of critical safety systems, including fire suppression, alarms, and security solutions. We are looking for a dedicated Fire Suppression Manager to join our team.

About the Role:
This is a hands-on leadership role supporting a small but growing fire suppression operation in Reno. The Fire Suppression Manager is responsible for coordinating field work, scheduling technicians, supporting installation and service activities, and handling day-to-day operational needs. This role wears multiple hats and is ideal for someone comfortable balancing field knowledge with operational coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily fire suppression operations, including fire extinguishers, kitchen hood systems, paint booth systems, and special hazard or specialty suppression systems.
  • Apply working knowledge of pre-engineered fire systems, supporting both installation and service of kitchen and industrial suppression systems.
  • Schedule suppression technicians and manage job calendars using Outlook and manual scheduling tools.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding scheduling, quotes, and job coordination.
  • Monitor job progress, check in with field crews, and address issues to keep work on schedule.
  • Track quoted work, billing status, invoicing, and technician labor hours to support productivity and profitability.
  • Review material requests, submit for approval, and assist with ordering parts and supplies as needed.
  • Support basic warehouse and inventory coordination related to suppression operations; forklift certification a plus.
  • Coordinate with sprinkler and low-voltage teams to ensure smooth cross-department collaboration.
